These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the cleaning services provided by Purpose Housekeeping™ ("Purpose Housekeeping," "we," "us," or "our") and your use of this website. By requesting an estimate, booking a service, or paying online, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
Purpose Housekeeping provides residential and commercial cleaning services, including standard and recurring cleaning, deep cleaning, move in / move out cleaning, post-construction cleaning, office and business cleaning, and optional add-on services. The specific scope of each service is agreed upon at the time of booking or estimate.
2. Estimates & Pricing
- Estimates provided on this website are non-binding starting guides based on typical homes and businesses. Free estimates are exactly that, free and with no obligation.
- The final price is confirmed before work begins and may vary based on the actual size, condition, and scope of the space.
- Prices shown by the online estimator are subject to change and do not constitute a contract until confirmed by us.
3. Booking & Payment
- You may request a free estimate or book and pay online. Online payments are processed securely by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your full card details.
- Payment is due as agreed at the time of booking unless other arrangements are made in writing.
- By submitting payment, you authorize the charge for the selected service.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice, or lockouts that prevent us from accessing the space, may be subject to a cancellation fee. Refunds for prepaid services follow the same notice policy.
5. Satisfaction Guarantee
Your satisfaction matters to us. If any area was not cleaned to your expectations, please notify us within 24 hours of the service and we will return to re-clean the affected area at no additional charge. This re-clean is our sole obligation under the guarantee.
6. Access, Safety & the Space
- You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the area to be cleaned, including working utilities (water, power, heat).
- Please secure pets and inform us of any fragile, high-value, or special-care items in advance.
- We reserve the right to decline or stop service in conditions that are unsafe, unsanitary beyond the agreed scope, or that pose a risk to our team.
7. Liability
We take great care in your home or business. In the unlikely event of damage caused directly by our service, please notify us within 24 hours so we can address it. Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear, or items that were not properly secured or disclosed.
8. Trademarks & Intellectual Property
"Purpose Housekeeping," the Purpose Housekeeping logo, the tagline "Clean spaces. Purposeful living.", and all related names, marks, and designs are trademarks of Purpose Housekeeping. All website content, including text, graphics, and images, is the property of Purpose Housekeeping and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written permission.
9. Privacy
Information you submit through our forms is used only to respond to your request and provide our services. Please see our Privacy Policy for details.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes will be handled in the courts located in Washington State.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Continued use of our services or website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
